Merry Christmas 2021: The artwork was a 50-foot-long, 28-foot-wide sand sculpture of Santa Claus

On Christmas Eve, international sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a huge sand sculpture of Santa Claus on Puri Beach in Odisha with around 5,400 roses.
Mr. Sudarsan sand sculpted Santa Claus with an installation of red roses and other flowers to reflect the message “Merry Christmas, enjoy your Christmas with COVID guidelines.”
Mr. Sudarsan’s 50-foot-long, 28-foot-wide Santa Claus sand sculpture took eight hours for the sculpture and two days for preparation, with help from his sand art institute to complete the art installation.

“Nous savons tous que la troisième vague de COVID-19 a déjà commencé presque partout dans le monde, nous avons donc créé cette sculpture où le Père Noël diffuse un message de suivre les directives COVID”, a déclaré M. Sudarsan, un lauréat Padma Shri connu pour son art du sable topique. .
“J’espère que cela établira un nouveau record dans le livre des records”, a-t-il déclaré.
Les sculptures de sable de M. Sudarsan sur COVID-19 ont été appréciées par l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS).
